At Fairfield Industries, a part of our mission is to help our clients in whatever way we can.

Sometimes we get requests for products or jobs not covered in the categories of our usual day-to-day business. When possible, we like to accept the challenge to “change up” for a little while, to expand our capabilities and sometimes expertise with special projects.

Contact us if you think we might be able to help you with a project of your own, and we’ll be glad to speak with you about it.

Below you can see some examples of the “out of the ordinary” we have done for our clients in the past.

  • Historically accurate replica of wrought iron fence, 600′ in length, via 10′ sections, made from modern-day steel.
  • Custom padded shipping boxes for temperature and shock-sensitive electronic arming fuses for a DoD contractor.
  • Custom colored extra heavy duty manhole covers made from composites, able to withstand compression of up to 50k lbs/sq inch.
  • Stainless steel and polycarbonate opening ports for several similar lines of vintage sailboats designed in the late 1950’s/60’s, to replace the fixed, non-opening portlights of the original design.
